Algerian Filmmaker Lina Soualem, won the 1st Award (4000€) for her film "Their Algeria" in the 2nd round of the Rough Cut Workshop for Arab Women Filmmakers.
The 2nd Award (1000€) went to the Tunisian filmmaker Wided Zoghlami for her film "Fathallah TV, ten years and a revolution later".
Rough Cut Workshop for Arab Women Filmmakers
The Rough-Cut Workshop is an audiovisual consultation offered to women filmmakers who are in the phase of working on the first rough-cut of their cinematographic work and need support regarding the content and the development of their film on an artistic and editing level.
The second round of the workshop, held between 18 and 20 February 2019 included six Arab women filmmakers.
First Award: €4000 offered from IMS (International Media Support) for post-production facilities.
Second Award: €1000 offered from Diputación Foral de Biszkaia for post-production facilities.
