While trying to catch an irritating fly, a little red pencil named Ruddy falls from the artist’s table and into the world of an unfinished picture book. Here he meets forest creatures and has adventures – but the artist doesn’t have the color red anymore, and the world on the pages is strange and unfinished. With the help of his new friends, Ruddy decides to return home.
