Among those killed in Cairo’s 2011 Maspero massacre was Mina Daniel, an Egyptian Coptic Christian known as the “Che Guevara of the Egyptian Revolution”. His sister Mary takes us on a two year journey of the revolution – two years of frustration and triumph, more death, and both the absence of presence of those who are gone. This is the story of those who have entered our lives and then left – and how we later understand just how much they’ve changed us.
