It is winter and a young girl is found frozen in a field. The film takes us on a journey to discover the circumstances that led to this young girl's end. As investigators question the people that she had met before her demise, it becomes clear that she was wandering homeless by choice. Mona didn't live by any of society's rules whether conservative or liberal.
As each person gives his or her statement to the police, we discover that these statements are distorted, as her aimless attitude to life is not understood by those who live by rules. Hostility towards her choice of life distorts the perception of those involved in the last two months of Mona's life.
