Along with around two million Sudanese people who went to live in Egypt, came a musical instrument called “Rango”. This instrument has a special rhythm, and left its signature on the Egyptian music and the percussion of the “Zar”. In Arab Lotfi’s documentary we are able to distinguish to what extend African culture and music had left a mark on Egyptian art.
